Thank you for your interest in supporting the Campaign for CSE!

To realize the tax benefits of making a gift of securities, you will want to ask your broker to transfer the securities to the University of Washington, rather than liquidating them and transferring the funds. This can be done "by wire" -- there is no reason to go to the trouble of obtaining a physical stock certificate.

Just follow these simple steps:

• Edit, sign, and send the attached letter (pdf or Word) to your broker.
• Send copies of the letter to Alana Askew and Anne Adams at the University of Washington (their addresses and FAX numbers are at the bottom of the letter itself).
• Send confirming email to Alana, Anne, and Ed Lazowska (click here for all three).
