Thank you for your interest in supporting the Campaign for CSE!

There can be substantial tax advantages to making a charitable gift of appreciated securities. In a nutshell:

You pay no taxes on the gain in the shares that you donate.
You may deduct the full appreciated amount as a charitable contribution.
UW pays no taxes when it liquidates the securities -- the full appreciated amount is available to us.
