Directions: Retrace your steps out of the WRF Suite and cross the Microsoft Atrium to the Grand Stair.




Informal gatherng areas are located near the skybridges on floors 2 to 6.

3. Grand Stair and Gathering Area
(Second Floor)

Climb the Grand Stair to the second floor. At the top of the landing, turn left.

By the window you will see one of the dozen informal gathering areas scattered throughout the Allen Center. In these spaces students faculty, staff, and visitors can congregate, study, and work. It's another "people-friendly" aspect of the building design.

These spaces feature comfortable couches and chairs, plus tables, full-wall whiteboards, and wireless and wired networking. Sometimes the best ideas come out of spontaneous interactions and informal brainstorming sessions.
