In the Combined Bachelors/Masters (BS/MS) degree, graduates earn a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, followed by a Master of Science in Computer Science & Engineering.  The program is intended to allow increased breadth and depth of study, to better prepare students for their careers.  The program was designed with feedback from CSE faculty, industry affiliates, and CSE students.

Graduation requirements include roughly one year of graduate-level courses, in addition to the standard undergraduate requirements for Computer Science or Computer Engineering.  The curriculum is designed so that students may complete both the Bachelors and Masters degrees in approximately 5 years of study.

The program is currently limited to approximately 10 students per year. Only currently-enrolled CS and CE majors at UW Seattle may apply to the Combined Bachelors/Masters program.
