We've got a mid-term coming up soon, so ALL of the following problems are important for you to work. The chapter 1 problems should be worked as soon as you can find time, since we've covered all of the material.
Next Friday, Oct. 24th, most of the boldfaced problems should be handed in. But we may remove a few of the boldfaced problems from Chapter 1, and may add one or two more as we cover more of context free languages and grammars in Chapter 2.
