CSE 373: Exams (Winter 2002)
Quizzes
Two quizzes are scheduled. Quiz 1 will be on January 28, and Quiz
2 will be on March 1.
Quiz 1
Quiz 1 will be a "closed-book" series of written exercises.
It will cover, primarily, mathematical background, but also
ADTs and "instance characteristics" of problems as described
in Chapter 2 of Sahni. Here is a
detailed list of topics
for the quiz.
Quiz 2
Quiz 2 will also be "closed-book."
It will be a mixed-format quiz containing a multiple-choice
part and a free-form part. Each student should bring
a standard answer form (sometimes called a "Scantron" form) and
some number-2 pencils. You can purchase an answer sheet near
the checkout counter in the HUB branch of the University Bookstore.

Final
The final examination for the course is scheduled for Wednesday, March
20, from 2:30PM to 4:20 PM. Any student anticipating a conflict with this
time must immediately notify the instructor and may be required to drop
the course.
