this scene contains 9 bars of varying colors as a sort of floor.
three point lights are located underneath the bars and shine
upward through them.  there are also two point lights above the
scene.  the objects are, left to right, a translucent blue cone,
a reflective sphere scaled such that it is egg-shaped, and a
translucent pink sphere scaled such that it is more like a
circular pane of glass.
