Lab #2
DUE: One week from today at 1:30

Overview:
The purpose of this lab is to give you experience with the Xilinx Foundation tools. You will become familiar with the schematic editor, the functional simulator and the script editor.

The lab: When you have completed the tutorial schematic and the schematic from class, show it to one of your TA's for credit. Since you are working in pairs and it is important for each person to become familiar with the tools, one person should be at the keyboard while working from the tutorial and the other while working with the schematic from class.

Part 1: Complete part one of the tutorial. A useful reference is the page of Xilinx Tips. This page could save you lots of time. Read it first!

Part 2: Enter the schematic from class; use the simulation script provided to see how the circuit works. Is this circuit correct? How confident are you that it works as you think it should work based on the waveform? Are there any interesting cases that are missing from the simulation script? Print out a copy of the schematic and the waveform to turn in with the answers to these questions.

Part 3: Complete part two of the tutorial.
