Problem-Solving Agents (cont.)
The implicit assumptions
- No sensing ability, so the solution is a straight-line sequence of actions. No conditionals, no loops.
- Perfect prediction ability
- initial state known with certainty
- action transitions are known and deterministic
- no exogenous events (world does not change except by intended actions)
- no adversaries
- Therefore, given initial and goal, you can prove that a particular sequence of actions is (or is not) a solution
- perception becomes irrelevant
