CSE490C: Special Topics (Cryptography)

Catalog Description: A rigorous introduction to modern cryptography. Design and application of important cryptographic objects, such as encryption, message authentication, and zero-knowledge proofs. Students learn to formalize security goals, design schemes for achieving these goals, and study security attacks or security proofs that establish the security or insecurity of schemes.

Prerequisites: CSE 312 and CSE 332
