CSE 557: Computer Graphics

Spring Quarter 1999

Graphics Instructional Lab

The graphics instructional lab, located in Sieg Hall room 228, was opened in September 1994. It was originally populated with 14 SGI Indy R4400 Worstations, donated by Silicon Graphics Inc. The Indys were named after famous characters from CG animations.

Since then, we have filled the lab with Windows NT workstations, donated by Intel. These workstations have lots of RAM, powerful graphics cards and large monitors. Applications are build using VC++ version 6.0, MFC, and OpenGL.

Please read the Lab guide for information about policies and rules related to the graphics lab.
