CSE143 Winter 2005 - Project #3 Report

Tic-Tac-Toe - The Writeup

Due: Friday, March 11 by 5 pm. No late assignments will be accepted.

You may hand your report in during lecture on Friday, or bring it to the CSE main office in the Allen Center during regular office hours Monday (9am-noon and 1-5pm).

For this last part of the project, you should write by yourself a brief written report about your project using the detailed report guidelines on the course web site. The project report is an important part of the project, and counts for a significant part of the overall score that you receive for your work.

This was a relatively short project and, because of the end-of-quarter crunch, you are encouraged to keep the report brief and to the point. Please be sure to point out what works and what doesn't, where the difficulties were, what worked like you expected, what you would do differently next time, your experience working with your partner - or working on your own, etc. Also, be sure to mention any additions you made to the project including more sophisticated algorithms, interesting user interface additions, and so on.

Grading: Your report will be evaluated both for its technical content and for the quality of the writing, both on a scale of 0-4. The project assessment guidelines have more details.
