First Midterm Replacement Scheduled for Monday Feb 5

Due to the over-great length of Midterm 1 and its resultant inefficiency in predicting the extent to which student comprehend the material tested, there will be a replacement midterm given on Monday, February 5.

In the unlikely event that a student who performed well on the first midterm does not do well on the second midterm, a score equivalent to the first will be assigned to that student.

It will cover material from sections 1.1-1.7, 2.3, 3.1, and 3.2

It would be foolish to assume that all new midterm questions will be similar to the first midterm's questions.

The test will be closed book and closed notes, individual work only.

Unless otherwise directed, you must show your work. It is to your advantage to show your work even when not required to do so, since partial credit may be awarded for those portions of the work that are correct.

Should the weather turn inclement, the exam will still be held, unless the University is closed for the day.
