Catalog Description: Basic concepts of programming languages, including
abstraction mechanisms, types, and scoping. Detailed study of several different
programming paradigms, such as functional, object-oriented, and logic
programming. No credit if CSE 413 has been taken.
Prerequisites: CSE 143.

- Remember that there are additional resources for
assignment #8 including sample BASIC programs. If you have a sample
program to suggest, send it to Stuart.
- Homework #3 will involve analyzing data from a personality test. If
you're willing, take the test so that your data will be
included.
- A file rsa.zip is available for those who
want to explore RSA with much bigger prime numbers. This works only with
the solution to the bonus for homework 2. Read the file readme.txt for
details of how to use these utilitities.
