Textbook: Computer Networks: A Systems Approach, 2nd Edition. Contrary to the bookstore's opinion, Tanenbaum's book is not recommended. It's not a waste of money, but there's a lot of material in there I don't want to present. Support your local amazon.com, if you like (though it doesn't matter to me where you get the book). The publisher's site has additional info if you're deciding whether to buy or borrow.

Textbook Errata: The textbook has a few bug-fixes. A few of them may end up being important.
