Changes below to our CE program are pending final approval. We expect them to be official by the start of autumn quarter. Previously admitted students are welcome to transition to these requirements.

Past Requirements

This was the last year we had separate tracks of Hardware and Software within Computer Engineering.

Students completing their first CSE 300-level course in Fall 2009 or Winter 2010 are under the transition requirements. These requirements are more flexible than either the old or the new requirements. Some adjustment to the Computer Engineering transition degree requirements may still be needed. Note: The transition requirements may make more sense after reading the new requirements.
