The CSE Undergraduate Handbook

The Undergrad Handbook is your primary resource for CSE info and tools. It provides links that will help you navigate CSE opportunities and procedures, and tools to help you prepare for life after graduation. You'll also find info about opportunities to become involved in CSE, including research, teaching and lab assistantships, talks, scholarships, and student organizations.

Feel free to stop by the advising office during drop-in hours or email questions to ugrad-advisor@cs. We also hope you will utilize the anonymous feedback form to let us know what is and is not working so well in the department.

We've moved from newsgroups to blogs for more convenient news and jobs updates. If you'd still like to receive new posts by email, please subscribe via RSS feed.

Unless otherwise noted, events are for current CSE majors only. Premajors, students in other departments, and non-UW students who are interested in CSE should contact an adviser to find out about appropriate events. Drop-in advising is open to anyone with questions about the CSE undergraduate program.

For a complete list of events, check out the CSE outreach page. Also remember to read your CSE email for reminders and details on upcoming events.

For more information about ACM and ACM-W-sponsored events, check their websites.
