We use two blogs to keep all current CSE students informed of important department events and announcements. Both blogs are only for current CSE majors. The Ugradnews Blog contains important announcements that are relevant to CSE undergraduates. You can sign up for an RSS feed if you prefer, or you can have the messages delivered straight to your inbox. The Ugradjobs Blog contains job postings for both full time and internship positions. We also use cs-ugrads-urgent which goes directly to your CSE email address for time sensitive information and weekly reminders. However if you do not sign up for RSS or direct email notification of the ugrad-news blog, you will consistently miss out on important opportunities such as free money, free food, jobs etc. There are now TWO ways that you can choose to receive announcements. You can subscribe via an RSS feed to Google Reader or other preferred blog reader by clicking the small symbol in the far right hand corner of the web address line . Add RSS feed for Ugradnews Ugradjobs: At this point we haven't figured out a secure way to get Ugradjobs blog into reader format since it needs to remain password protected. If you have suggestions, please let us know. You can request direct email notification anytime we post. Ugradnews email notification Ugradjobs email notification Why are we using blogs? The blog format gives students the ability to search easily for subcatagories, such as internships or full time jobs in the Ugradjobs blog and general announcements, scholarships, volunteer opportunities, etc in Ugradnews. When you first enter the department, we add everyone to mail subscription for ugradnews as the default option.
