Welcome to my website!

I am a research associate (post-doc) in the Computer Science and Engineering Department at the University of Washington, Seattle. I work with Prof. Yoky Matsuoka in the Neurobotics lab.

Currently, I am working on the development of an Anatomically Correct Test-bed (ACT) Hand to represent and understand the biomechanics and neural controls of human hand. Find out more about my current research and future goals here.

I finished my PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in January 2007. I worked with Prof. Jonathan Luntz on the development of methods for robot dynamics and controls, specifically, for mobile robot search and rescue.
