Stripping the Old Paint

Once the bottom was put back together, I began the task of stripping the old paint, both in preparation for repainting and to facilitate repairs to the fiberglass covering. This took an entire weekend, which I spent with a 1940's vintage Sioux grinder. While this tool was built to last, by the time I had passed it over the entire hull, my arms, back, neck, shoulders, and legs aches like you wouldn't believe!
