There were several areas where the fiberglass sheeting had to be replaced, but fortunatly there were only two small areas where the underlying plywood was bad. The builder had gotten a little too enthusiastic with the sandpaper on the sheers, and as a result the fiberglass had broken down in several spots. I feathered them back to bare wood and did spot repairs. I then added a layer of 8" 6 oz fiberglass tape set in epoxy down the entire length of both sides. |
