During my first two years at UW, I worked with David Wetherall, John Zahorjan, Ratul Mahajan, and Maya Rodrig on wireless networking. Our work included studies of wireless packet traces collected at the SIGCOMM 2004 conference and characterizations of 802.11 networks using a testbed in our department.

As part of this work, I helped to design and evaluate a model that could predict interference in a real network, based on a simple set of measurements.
