I hold the Torode Family Endowed Career Development Professorship in Computer Science. I am an Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellow, a recipient of the National Science Foundation CAREER award, and a co-founder of Skytap Inc. (formerly known as illumita).
My research interests include operating systems, distributed systems, scalable Internet services, systems security, and large-scale content delivery systems.
