About

I am a graduate student in the Computer Science Department at the University of Washington. If all goes well, in some number of years I will be "Dr. Sus".

More details in my Curriculum Vitae

When I'm not in front of a computer, I'm most likely doing something related to Shotokan Karate at the University of Washington dojo.

If we need to set up a meeting, you can check my schedule.

Research

My areas of interest include speech and voice-based interfaces, and assistive/access technologies for addressing physical and situational impairments.

I am currently working on the Vocal Joystick project, developing applications that can be used by people with motor impairments to fluidly control their computer and applications.

Most recently, I have been working with an "Electronic Voice Painter" to create a hands-free drawing program called VoiceDraw.
