ColorBlind Assistant

This is a simple program for Symbian S60/Nokia devices to provide color spectrum information using the camera. It is built using python.

Due to camera quality and lighting variation it isn't very accurate at naming ccolors, but it is fine for helping distinguish 'is this pink or light green?' by showing you where the sample is in the color spectrum. It also shows the amount of variation in the color by the width of spectrum marker. The image is sampled for color in the small box at the center.

Installing the Application

The first step of installing the client is to install the Symbian Python interperter. Download the appropriate PythonForS60 sis for your platform from http://pys60.sourceforge.net/. Then install it. Once that is installed, it is time to install the application.
Download: colorassist.sis Then just install it on your phone and run it.
