I am a second-year PhD student in systems research at the University of Washington, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, located in Seattle, WA. I work primarily with Hank Levy, Luis Ceze, and Steve Gribble in the systems group. I am also a part of the sampa (Safe MultiProcessing Architectures) group, as part of my low-level systems and architecture work.
I received my bachelors degree (B.A.) from Dartmouth College in 2010. While there, I worked all four years in the PKI/Trust Lab for systems and security under Sean W. Smith.
For a more detailed list of my accomplishments, please check out my CV (last updated Nov 2011).
I am generally interested in resource management at a low level of systems design, operating systems, and bordering on architectural design. I am also interested in exploring virtualization as a means, not merely of hosting guest operating systems, but also of providing additional resource management.
