Assignments and Examinations: Check due dates for these on the course schedule.

4. 2 Reports (40%). You will type two reports and put them on the class website open all students to read and leave comments. You are also required to type in at least two online comments for reports other than yours for both, first and second reports.

#1. Introductory Report: Report on an organization, service, issues or education related to Deaf Culture. At least 2 pages, typed and double spaced. Check list of suggested topics in Syllabus. (10%)

#2. In-depth report: 5 pages, typed and double spaced. (3 pages summary and 2 pages of your evaluation on their service or activity.)

3 options (30%):

Option 1: Continued investigation of introduction report. Add 5 more pages to your original 2 pages from your introduction report. Contact and interview with the organization, service or education required.

Option 2: Same as option 1 except that you choose a new topic for five pages in-depth report.

Option 3: Book Report: Choose one book from an approved book list. Read and type a report including 3 pages summary and 2 pages reflection of your viewpoint, interpretation, and experience with the book. Check book list in Syllabus.

Test Taking Policy:

You have to be in the class on time to be able to do the whole test. If there are circumstances beyond your control that you should miss a test day, email me and explain your situation. I’ll be glad to give you a make up test in my office. You must have a valid reason for missing any test day. There is one week limit for make up test from the test date. I will not return any test until one week later so that every student will have the chance to take the test.
