Projects

My Ph.D thesis focuses on techniques for efficient management of imprecise/probabilistic streams called Markovian streams. I have implemented these techniques in the Lahar system. System/algorithm details, publications, and code/data downloads can be found at the project's homepage.
My Master's thesis (with advisor Dieter Fox) developed scalable algorithms for inferring a mobile device's location from the wireless (WiFi) signals it receives, even when the locations of most signal sources (WiFi access points) are unknown.
