ACM North Site Information
On November 10th, 2007, the Pacific NW
Regional ACM Programming Contest will be held at several sites. The
University of Washington is acting as the north site. We expect 24 teams to
compete.
The contest will be held in the Paul G. Allen
Center. Parking should cost $5 after 4 pm on Friday and an additional $5
on Saturday. Driving directions to the building can be found here.
Friday Pizza Party
We will have pizza available for interested teams on Friday night from 6-8 pm.
We have reserved the Gates Commons, which is on the sixth floor of the Allen
Center.
Hotels
Hotels near the university tend to be pricey and they book up fairly fast. The
University Travelodge
is very close and has some rooms at $118 plus tax. You can probably do better
if you're willing to drive at least a small distance. For example, the Travelodge by the space
needle has rooms for $99 plus tax. They are 5 miles away (about a 10
minute drive). You might want to use orbitz.com to find a hotel. You can "search
by address" and use the Allen Center address (185 Stevens Way, Seattle, WA,
98195).
Contest
The contest will be held from 8 am until approximately 5 pm on Saturday. A
registration desk will be set up at the entrance for the Allen Center starting
at 8 am. Continental breakfast will be available.
Any questions should be directed to Stuart Reges.
