I am a graduate student in Computer Science & Engineering at the University of Washington. I have a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from the Sharif University of Technology in Iran. I also have an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Victoria in Canada where I did my Masters study with Dr. Kui Wu. My Ph.D. advisor is Dr. Magdalena Balazinska. I am also a member of the database group at UW and a member of the SciDB group. My interests are generally in the fields of databases and distributed systems. My recent work focuses on RFID data management and scientific data management in cloud computing.
