I am a graduate student in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Washington. I am a member of the Tactile Graphics Project team, and the Signal and Speech Language Interpretation (SSLI) Lab. My advisors are Richard E. Ladner and Mari Ostendorf. My research interests include machine learning, natural language processing/understanding, information retrieval, and access technology for the blind. Now, I am particularly interested in discourse structure and interaction patterns in multi-party conversational speech, and semi-supervised learning that can save our effort to label data used for training classifiers, by exploiting unlabeled data.
