Fun stuff

  • Once upon a time, I drew a picture using a mouse, which required holding down the mouse button and dragging it around to produce every single outline. The black and white version took most of a day, and colouring it took almost another day, way longer than a proper paper version would have required. The most remarkable part, however, is that its width was that of my screen at the time!

  • A fun account of Australia by Douglas Adams, of the Hitchhikers' Guide to the Galaxy fame.

  • The hitchhiker's guide to the PhD (or a short review of my PhD) - A PhD is an amazing journey (quoting DP):
    • The pub at the end of the Lab - The Castle, surely!
    • Work, the Lab and everything - enough said.
    • So long, and thanks for all the travel support - Wish I had been to more exotic venues.
    • Young PhD student plays safe - or did I?
    • Mostly harmless - guess that's why so many people have finished PhDs...

  • Christmas tree 2004 and Mr. Bottle.

That's it for now!
