Prior to joining GoldenTree, Will Portnoy was a Vice President at Morgan Stanley in the Global Proprietary Credit Group where he was responsible for setting technology strategy for the CDO and ABS trading desks. Before joining the finance industry, Will worked in the User Interface Strategy group within Microsoft Research and the Microsoft Windows team while concurrently earning a Ph.D. in computer science with a minor in computational finance at the University of Washington. Will graduated with distinction with a bachelor of science in engineering degree from Duke University with majors in biomedical engineering and computer science.
