I helped start DUB, a cross-campus HCI community at the University of Washington. In October 2005, I initiated DUB weekly seminars, for UW as well as outside HCI researchers to present their work and communicate ideas. I ran the seminars and served as the event organizer for the group for three quarters. I helped create the DUB web site in May 2004 and was the major maintainer until early 2006.
I am one of the major contributors of DENIM, an open source tool for designing websites by sketching. DENIM has been downloaded more than 100,000 times since 2001. I have been the major developer for DENIM 1.1 (released March 2003), DENIM 2.0 (released February 2005) and DENIM 2.1 (released April 2007).
