| This is an artificial component provided as a debugging
aide.
A debug output component writes its input value to a UI-specified
destination each cycle. (In the Windows UI this is the text output
window.) The writing is enabled by default. The 'D' input port
can be attached to a disable line; when the value on that line is
non-zero, output is supressed for that cycle.
A debug output component can be an input source. Debug outputs can
thus be "spliced" into connections between two other components
to serve as a kind of probe. |
