blah  The W.T. Baxter Computer Engineering Laboratory has 39 computers in the main room--25 on low benches, 14 on high benches.  All are Dell, Pentium-4 2.8 Ghz machines.  The specialized software loaded on these computers changes every quarter based on what is needed in each class using the lab.  Students enrolled in a class using the W.T. Baxter Computer Engineering Laboratory are encouraged to use the computers for regular schoolwork, though students with scheduled labs  have priority.   Complete guidelines for using the lab are posted here.

In addition to computers, the lab is equipped with various test instruments and other tools.  Click here to see a complete inventory .  Equipment can be used as needed by students presuming availability.  A separate inventory is maintained for project hardware.  The lab also maintains a large stock of electronic parts for projects.   You should submit a request for any new equipment that is needed but which is not currently available.  If you can't find something and need it urgently, contact the Lab Manager.
