A set of machines for developing web-based projects using Microsoft IIS is available for remote use by students enrolled in CSE P544. These machines are intended to be accessed remotely, using the Microsoft Remote Desktop Service.
NOTE: Each machine can be used by only one person at a time. If somebody else is already logged on, do not bump them off!
Information about using these machines is available here. You first need to be sure to find an 'open' machine -- one that nobody else is using -- because if you click "yes" at the wrong point in the remote login process, it is very easy to bump somebody else off from their active session! Also be aware that when you log off from the remote machine, any temporary files you left there will be removed - so be sure to make copies of your working files somewhere else!
Information for the Instructor/TA about setting up and operating this resource is here.
