• Remote Windows Cycles — Remote access to Windows machines on the UW CSE network, from your a remote machine. (Having IP authentication problems? This is one workaround.)
• Remote Unix Cycles — Remote access to Unix machines on the UW CSE network, from your a remote machine.
• Paying for Home Connectivity — Primarily for faculty. Answers "Can my grant pay?"
• ISPs and Remote Access — Advice on: selecting the type of service you want and an ISP that can provide it, and dealing with the problems that a non-local IP addresses will create.

• Secure Unix Login From Your Browser — An introduction to secure Unix login via the MindTerm applet.
• Protect Your Computer! — Steps you should take to protect your home computer, yourself and others from viruses, spyware and other intrusions, as well as loss of laptops, senstive or private data, even your identity. This stuff is dreary, but critically important!
