NOTE:  All users MUST use "csewirelessnet" as one of their SSID's for your NIC card to become associated with this network!!!  It is case and spelling sensitive!!  The University's SSID is "UniversityofWashington" also case sensitive and one word.

Scope:

This page is being built to help in the configuration information to access SIEG's Wireless network for Intel wireless cards.

What do I need?

The first thing you will need will be the software for the Intel card.  This can be found on the CD that was shipped with the card, from the web at INTEL (ver. 2.2) or CSE's software distribution area which has a limited amount of drivers.

What do I do next?

1.)  Install the card as directed by the documentation provided.  The below is to help you out a bit on the installation of the CSE session ID (SSID).  "csewirelessnet"  Not the hardest thing in the world since there is not any extra management utilities.
