Regarding equipment reservations...
Please read the following carefully before you click
here to reserve
equipment. Return to this page
if you need some help. Send comments, suggestions, complaints about
this system to
support@cs.
-
Equipment may be picked up and dropped off at room 260, the
support
office only during normal business hours,
9am-5pm.
Equipment may not be picked up or dropped off on weekends. If you
cannot pick it up or drop it off during business hours, please make a
separate
support request.
and try to
make special arrangements.
-
Try to make your reservation at least one day before you intend
to pick the equipment up. This ensures that your reservation time
will appear on a pickup/dropoff schedule generated at the start of
each day.
-
The first date/time in the range you specify is the time you plan
to pick up the equipment; the last date/time is the time you
plan to return it. If your pickup/dropoff time is on our daily
schedule, we will make every effort to be sure someone is in the
support office from 10 minutes before to 10 minutes after the pickup
and dropoff times you have chosen, or we will notify you that the
equipment will need to be picked up or dropped off at different times.
If you need to pick up or return the equipment at times different from
those you originally specified, please let us know.
-
If you arrive at the support office and it is locked, follow the
instructions on the sign outside the door.
-
If you are unfamiliar with the operation of the projectors and
laptops, print yourself a copy of this
dummies' guide.
-
You are responsible for making sure the equipment works in
the environment in which you intend to use it. We cannot guarantee
that everything will work as you want. For example, if you absolutely
must be assured that a laptop you borrow has charged batteries, or
works with a certain projector, or has a modem that works with the
phones in building X, etc., etc., then it is your
responsibility to check out that laptop a day early to test it out in
your working environment.
-
Time limits may be applied to certain resources or schedule groups, based on the
resource and your CSENetID. See
http://reserve.cs.washington.edu/equip/help.php#time_limit for
more information on how this works. Limits for specific resources are described in
the appropriate sections below.
