Remote Access to CS&E Resources

Use of ISPs by CSE faculty, staff and students will increase markedly in the near future. This is the inevitable result of the much larger bandwidth being offered by phone companies, cable modem services, etc. The department simply does not have the money or the time to compete with these technologies in offering "IP dialtone". Therefore we are getting out of the modem business. See here for the official statement of this policy change.
