Microsoft Corporation has made its developer software available free of charge to any student enrolled in a CSE course for credit, and to faculty and staff and laboratory systems in the University of Washington Department of Computer Science & Engineering. If you are eligible, you can download products such as operating systems, including Windows 2000 and Windows XP; developer tools, including Visual Studio, Visio; as well as server test platforms (Windows Server, SQL Server, Exchange Server, Commerce Server, .NET products and more.) Also available are development tools for Windows CE; MSDN Library; and resource kits for many products. Use of software acquired through this donations program is limited to educational and non-commercial research purposes. To be eligible as a student, you must be registered for a CSE course for credit.
Software is being provided under a program known as "Microsoft Developer Network -- Academic Alliance" (MSDNAA), which has certain eligibility requirements and restrictions on use of the software. To proceed, please read the Student Use Guidelines for the MSDNAA Program. Got questions? Send email to ms-sw-admin Thanks to Microsoft for their generosity! |
