Subject: [Cs-staff] UNIX fileserver migrations continue on Friday through the weekend.

The migrations begun last weekend will continue this weekend for the 
following hosts:

fury.cs.washington.edu -> echo.cs.washington.edu
jack.cs.washington.edu -> tebo.cs.washington.edu

If time permits, barb and hugh will also be migrated to new hardware in 
the Allen Center this weekend after the above servers have been migrated. 
The barb and hugh host names will not change.

Fury will be taken offline beginning at 5 PM Friday 9/19

If your GWS home directory is located on one of these servers your e-mail
will also be inaccessible while the migration is in progress for your
server.

If this migration takes more than one day, migration will stop as the
server in progress is completed, and will begin again at 5 PM the next
day. All affected content will be left in an operational state during the
layover, and the system alert will be updated to reflect the status of the
migration as it proceeds.
