CSE World Wide Web FAQ
Beyond "How to create a home page on the CSE web." But— quite frankly&mdash not much beyond.
Using MediaWiki at CSE
MediaWiki is a capable implementation of the wiki-wiki concept. The lab supports a lot of installs of this bad boy— research, instructional, administrative. Please read this before asking for one. And ask yourself this: if wikis are so great, why is this a static HTML document?
Using WordPress at CSE
WordPress is a blogging and (to a lesser degree) content management platform. The lab supports a few installs for instructional, outreach, and internal communication purposes. You can read a little bit about it here. The emphasis is currently on little. We too busy bloggin' to write much such documentation.
