All students with teaching assistantships are required to take 590 IT, TA Instructor Training. Students with other funding who intend to TA in the near future should also plan on taking it. The class will cover such topics as efficient time management, how to deal with students, what to do in the classroom, and creating and grading assignments, as well as being a great forum for having your questions answered by fellow TAs and faculty. This year's class will be taught by Prof. Martin Dickey.
