Special Effort Award Nomination Criteria: This
award is given monthly for one-time special efforts. It is designed to
recognize staff for their extraordinary efforts on a specific project or
assignment. As many awards may be given as there are worthy candidates*. Eligibility for the Award: Open
to all classified, professional and hourly staff including SLA’s in Support
& computing labs, student assistants in the administrative office. There
is no requirement for minimum length of time worked in CSE. Members
of the recognition committee are not eligible. *Individuals
are limited to two awards per calendar year. Nomination process: Nominations
may be submitted by any CSE faculty, staff or student. Only
one person is required to submit a nomination form. Anonymous
or self nominations are not allowed. Nominations
will be evaluated once a month. Award selection & communication: Each
month two members of the recognition committee will review nominations for
eligibility. The
award will be announced via email and presented to the recipient at the monthly
birthday celebration event. The
recipient’s name and description of their special efforts will be added to CSE’s
staff recognition web page. Award: Framed
personalized certificate AND Choice
of a $25 Amazon gift certificate, OR CSE fleece jacket OR hoodie
