I got this out of a landscaping book.  I haven't tried it yet, but I'm
quite confident that it works.

Recipe for Mossy Bits

1. In a blender, combine 1 c. milk and a small quantity of moss of the
desired color and texture.

2. Using a paint brush, apply the moss shake to the bits.

3. Keep damp for several weeks or until moss is established.
