Welcome!Welcome to the Spring 1997 edition of Mossy Bits. Mossy Bits is the creative arts journal of the grad students in the University of Washington's Department of Computer Science and Engineering. We are proud to unveil the second edition published on the Web.As usual, a lot work has gone into the issue you see before you. We'd like to thank all of this year's contributors, especially Denise Pinnel for creating the cover art on such short notice. We've done our best to make this issue compatible with all Web browsers on all systems. To view these pages properly, you should resize your browser to be as tall as possible and wide enough so that you can see the entire arrow at the top of the screen. These pages are best viewed using Netscape 3.0b or better. (Older versions of Netscape don't support tables with colored backgrounds.) Should you choose, you can also use the most recent version of Internet Explorer. If you experience any problems, please contact us at mossy-bits@cs.washington.edu.
To see this year's issue, step into the
main hallway.
