About the Chinook logo

Chinook

version "roe"

The original Chinook logo was designed in 1993 using MacDraw. It consists of nine 90-degree curves, one circle, and five straight lines ("grill mark").

version "fry"

The new Chinook logo was designed in October 1996 using Adobe Illustrator 6.0 for the Macintosh. It retains the same basic outlines, but the body is now shaded with a gradient to achieve a 3-D look. Click here for an embedded postscript version of the picture.
