Logging on

In Sieg 232 there are over 20 Intel PCs.  Log onto Windows NT using the account given to you by your instructor or host.  Then start up Windows NT Explorer from the Program menu.  Next, select Tools: Map Network Drive.  Select drive letter O, and then enter the following path:
\\ntdfs\cs\nt\rprojects\courses\metip

Running the Color Pixel Calculator

After that, open up drive O:, and find the Colxform folder.  Open this folder and then double click on Colxform.exe.  This is the Color Pixel Calculator.

Running the METIP Programming Environment (XFORM -- monochrome version).

To start up Lisp with the image processing environment, go back to the main METIP directory where you started after selecting the O: drive.  Now double click on WXLISP.EXE.  This will open up the Lisp window.  You can then type in the Lisp window the expression below to get two windows with an initial image.
(xform-startup 2 "monet.bmp")
